ABOUT WORKABILITY INTERNATIONAL OCEANIA
About Us
Workability Oceania is the regional group established by Workability
International members operating in the Oceania geographical region
following the inaugural meeting at the Workability International
Conference in October 2004 in Christchurch, New Zealand The regional
group has strong links with the Australian national industry body
National Disability Services and the New Zealand Federation of
Vocational & Support Services Inc. - VASS. It has its own constitution
and legally registered in Australia. Organisations joining Workability
International within the Oceania geographical area become individual
members of Workability Oceania. Between Australia and New Zealand it has
45 members.
Strategy
Continue to support members and facilitate networks, alliances and
partnerships
Provide forums and study tours that inform members of new and best
practices in service provision and business
Work collaboratively with the national industry bodies in Australia
and New Zealand
Continue to explore opportunities and partnerships to assist
services in developing countries
Work collaboratively with other Workability International regions
Actively participate in the strategic direction and corporate
governance of Workability International
Maintain a sound financial base whilst offering members value based
fees
